Hispanic Outreach

Starting in January 2016, the Hispanic Outreach after-school tutoring program will expand to every Monday afternoon throughout the school year. Whether it’s reading a book aloud or helping with homework, you can play a vital role in helping elementary children learn and grow! Serve as a volunteer tutor once a week at our tutoring trailer in the Chesterfield Mobile Home Park.

Description

With the help of volunteers and community leaders, we host an after-school program, ESL classes, and youth activities for children and families in the Chesterfield Mobile Home Park, a predominately Hispanic community in Missouri. We also partner with Somali Christians in the Horn of Africa, offering discipleship and leadership training, education and literacy support, and working to establish a Somali-led church.
