Take part in a unique opporunity to rebuild the Sherborn Playground. We need up to 100 volunteers daily to build our playground. Skilled and willing workers will be directed by team captains to build play structures and components. We are in need of a few safety captains, food servers, and tool coordinators as well. Play by Design as well as a group of community members in Sherborn have been fundraising and working hard to design a new playground that will pay homage to Sherborn's history. This new playground will feature many unique components such as a treehouse, a farm stand, a steamboat playstructure, and lots of other fun pieces.

Mission Statement
The new Sherborn Playground will be designed and rebuilt to be a space for children of all ages and abilities, featuring innovative equipment that encourages all kids to get outside, get moving, and get dirty. The Sherborn Playground will feature historic Sherborn play components which compliment Sherborn's landscape and history. The new playground will be a community wide build over the course of five days in October (October 20th-25th 2015) 8am - 8pm.
Description
The Sherborn Playground was founded by a group of parents within the town to fundraise and design a new all inclusive playground to be enjoyed by children of all ages and abilities. The Sherborn Playground was designed by Play by Design and will be a community wide build on October 20th-25th.
