Common Good

At Common Good we strive to provide an afterschool program serving grades K-12 on the Northside of Lexington, KY to the neighborhoods of Castlewood, N. Limestone and East End. We have a diverse population of African Refugess, Hispanic, Black and White students. We build relationships with not only the students but their families as well. We are a wholistic relational outreach. We believe that by establishing these relationships we can advance our community and bridge gaps along cultural barriers. Our volunteers would assist with our afterschool program from the hours of 2:30-6:00 pm. During this time you will be building relationships with students, eating, helping them with homework and playing games. It is a fun atmosphere and we know that anybody that is willing to do it would love it! The committment is one day a week for a full academic semester from January-May. If you need to miss a day or are sick that it totally fine!
