M Health Fairview Lakes Medical Center (FLMC) invites you to help make a difference in the lives of our patient and families by becoming a volunteer at FLMC.

Do you want to support patient care, but you aren't a nurse? Like the idea of helping with fundraising, but you don't want to ask people for money? Become a gift shop volunteer today and help support patient care in the hospital. The Fairview Lakes Gift Shop is one of the main funding sources for the hospital. By volunteering in the gift shop you are supporting several projects around the hospital such as student scholarships, and department specific needs. In the past the funds raised have gone to install more private pre-op patient rooms, special medical equipment, and new, more user friendly inpatient TV remote controls and call lights.

Responsibilities of this position include providing customer service for customers making purchases in the gift shop/pharmacy. Process gift shop returns. Maintain gift shop appearance. Process phone orders. Volunteer shifts are 4 hours in length and we have openings for both week days and weekends with evening shifts being shorter.
