If you want to change the world, you have to start by changing the lives of the world's women.
WiNGS provides women tools and resources to become strong mothers, advocates for their own breast health, successful in the workplace and financially secure. To learn about our programs, visit our new website - www.WiNGSdallas.org .
Wings seeks volunteers to provide education and support to our Women’s Enterprise Center members. This program helps women become successful entrepreneurs through Business Plan Training, Continuing Education, Peer Support Groups and much more. We are needing volunteers with small business experience and/or business finance knowledge to fill a variety of roles. These roles include:
Expert Guest Speaker: Provides supplemental education during Business Plan Training. Each speaking engagement is 1 hour.
Skill Development Facilitator: Provides a 2 hour workshop on topic of expertise.
Consulting Group Facilitator: Services as coach for ongoing peer groups. Meets every other week for 2 hours.
Business Mentor: Work one-on-one with aspiring entrepreneurs to assist in aspects of their business plan.
Technical Assistance: Provide hands on financial, legal or technical assistance to assist WiNGS members in launching their business.
Monday - Thursday evenings, plus Saturday morning opportunities

WiNGS has been walking alongside women since 1908, constantly evolving to meet women’s changing needs. We continue to help women overcome poverty by taking charge of their futures as members seeking services, or giving back to others as mentors, coaches and advocates.
Our volunteers make up an essential part of our programing. By volunteering their time and knowledge as class facilitators. WiNGS offers both online and virtual classes to our members in areas of Financial Resilience, Career Advancement, and Personal Development.
