The Northwest Association for Blind Athletes provides life-changing opportunities through sports and physical activity to children, youth and adults who are blind or visually impaired. These sports range from tandem kayaking, tandem biking, golf, hiking to sports made specifically for people who are blind like goalball. In Idaho we have a team of veterans that play goalball nd last year they decided to do a fundraising spaghetti dinner with proceeds benefitting NWABA. It was a great success. This year we are taking it to the next level with a full dinner, live auction and silent auction. To make this goal a success we need volunteers. Below is a full list of opportunities. Should you be able to help with this fun event you would be helping us make a big impact in the lives of this often marginalized group of people.

Description
The Northwest Association for Blind Athletes [NWABA] enriches lives and provides opportunities for children, youth, adults and veterans who are visually impaired. When individuals with visual impairments experience sports and recreation they have more self-confidence and open up to the possibility that they really can pursue their dreams in both sports and life. Our athletes leave behind sedentary isolated lives and they gain skills, confidence and joy.
