City Artworks provides art classes to over a thousand students each school semester! Our Fall semester is beginning and we need help gathering, packing, and organizing art supplies. City Artworks contracts artists and teachers in the community to teach in many different locations including but not limited to public and private schools, hospitals, low-income appartment complexes, and also classes in our studio. We need to organize and pack over 150 boxes for our teachers to collect during our bi-annual workshop on September 19th. Below is a list of a few things we could use help from the community to ensure success this semester.
- Organizing many different mediums of art to be packed in boxes.
- Packing over 150 boxes with a variation of art supplies for our contracted teacher.
- Organizing boxes with labels to be recieved by teachers
- Counting and bundling supplies for easy packing
- Cleaning studio to prepare for our bi-annual workshop
- Organizing and packaging lesson plans
- Many other volunteer opportunities available

City Artworks fosters the development of the creative thinker. Exposure to the visual arts can help children develop deeper understanding of their world and social environment.
