Host an International Student in Butler PA for the 2015-2016 School Year!

Dear Butler community,

We are excited to welcome a new international student for the 2015-2016 school year! The student has already been granted acceptance into First Baptist Christian School through the Quest Exchange program, and we are actively seeking a Host Family for the student. What does being a host family mean?

Host Family Responsibilities

    • Create a warm and friendly environment for the student in your home
    • Engage in learning about his culture as he learns about ours
    • Provide 3 meals a day - breakfast, bag lunch, dinner
    • Help student with transportation to and from school - the student will pay for additional costs such as a bus fee when applicable
    • Spend time with your student on the weekend

*Host Families will receive a monthly stipend of $400 to offset the cost of hosting.

Interests: I like Math very much, I am good at logical thinking. Church activities. In my spare time, I read books, play computer games, see a movie, or physical exercise such as playing basketball, sit-up, swim and so on. I like sports very much, such as table tennis, basketball, billiards, swimming and skating. I also like hip-hop, it is very famous in america. I would like to join table tennis club, I am very good at table tennis, it is very popular sport in China. I would like to establish a table tennis club if my school does not have it. I would like to share my skills with my america classmates.
