Kinetic Kids provides sports & recreation programs for children with special needs throughout the year. Programs are held at various locations around San Antonio, Schertz/Cibolo & New Braunfels 1x/week for 6-8 weeks each season. Volunteers may sign up for a program of their choice and plan to attend 1x/week for 6-8 weeks. Most programs are on a weekday evening (Monday-Thursday) or Sunday afternoons. There are also some 1-day event opportunities throughout the season. SUMMER opportunities include: Swimming, Basketball, Karate, Cheer, Tennis, Gymnastics & More!

Description
Kinetic Kids is a non-profit organization in San Antonio that provides sports and recreation programs for children with special needs. Programs are adapted and supervised by physical and occupational therapists. Kinetic Kids utilizes one-on-one volunteers to assist children in participating in sport and helping them reach their highest potential while maintaining a safe environment for all. Volunteers attend a volunteer orientation and receive sport specific training. Coaches/instructors lead the class and teach volunteers what/how to work on specific skills with children. Kinetic Kids does NOT have our own location. We utilize existing facilities and fields around San Antonio, Schertz & New Braunfels ie: swimming pools, church & university gymnasiums, little league baseball fields, etc...
