Phoenix Employment Ministries is searching for reliable volunteers to assist with our children’s Life Skills Program. Volunteers will have the opportunity to be a mentor and a positive influence in the lives of children through service while earning volunteer hours. Dinner is also included!
Our children range from 1-10 years old. A written curriculum, crafts, and games for you to lead our school aged students as well as play with and care for our little ones. Training is provided.
Volunteers must be at least 16 years old and must successfully pass background screening.
Volunteers are requested Wednesdays 5:30pm-8:00pm. Sound interesting? Please contact staff to learn of available volunteer dates.

Our participants often have significant barriers to employment, such as limited education, limited work experience, lack of transportation, criminal records, substance abuse history or childcare issues.
