Kids and Mentors Outdoors (KAMO) is a non-profit, all-volunteer group that gets kids between 8 - 15 outdoors year around. Activities include hiking, biking, hunting, bird watching, fishing, skiing, canoeing, boating, camping, photography, snowshoeing, sledding, etc.
We have some exciting partner activities coming up with Gundersen Health and a local foundation.
We are always looking for people to help on outings, which we have year around. The group is a fun one to be in. We have various levels of volunteer opportunities.

Mission Statement
KAMO gets children ages 8- 15 outdoors year around for the sheer joy of experiencing nature.
Description
Kids and mentors Outdoors (KAMO) is an all-volunteer, non-profit group that exists to get kids outdoors. We get kids between 8-15 outdoors doing a large variety of activities. It is free to families.
Activities include: hiking, fishing, boating, canoeing, orienteering, camping, archery, wild life viewing and photography, skiing, and more.
Our mentors are back ground checked adults with an interest in working with children, usually in an outdoor setting. These mentors plan, organize, and run activities.
We do not pressure our mentors to raise funds, be more participative, or even mentor a child if that person just wants to help.
