Volunteers serving in one of these roles will assist with the following areas:
- Securing sponsorship for the event
- Accounting activities
- Promoting and educating teams, committee and event attendees regarding the scope of work and efforts of the American Cancer Society including programs and services, research, prevention and detection
- Promotion of American Cancer Society’s advocacy initiatives through the American Cancer Society Cancer Action Network and recruitment of new members for the American Cancer Society Cancer Action network
