A fun and dynamic opportunity to educate children and adults on our mission of Wolf Recovery in the Wild - we offer programs to public weekend tours, private tours, community groups, and school children, grades K-12. Children's groups include hands-on activities. We provide all necesary training - no experience necessary. Come share our mission with others and join our amazing team of volunteers.
Some of these opportunities within this Education Team are offsite at local events in San Diego - we host booths are Earth Fairs/ give presentations to schools, libraries, clubs, etc.

Mission Statement
The California Wolf Center is a 501(c)(3) non-profit dedicated to the recovery of wolves in the wildlands they once roamed. We accomplish our mission through Conservation: partnering with stakeholders to implement proactive solutions that enable wolves to successfully share the landscape and leading the way in endangered species recovery programs. Education: increasing awareness and understanding of wolves through engaging educational programs and public outreach. Research: studying wolves biology, behavior and history in California. We are a statewide organization.
Description
Founded in 1977, the California Wolf Center is a unique education, conservation, and research center focusing on the North American gray wolf. Through a variety of education programs, participation in the Mexican Wolf Species Survival Program and research efforts both local and abroad, the center strives to increase awareness and understanding of the importance of all wildlife.
