A Cause for Paws Free Community Expo to support local non-profit rescue group
Bring the whole family for a fun filled day at the park
Pet Stop Rescue, Denise Esswein founder, today announced the non-profit organization will hold A Cause for Paws Pet Expo on October 10, 2015 from 10 am to 5 pm at Sycamore Drive Community Center 1692 Sycamore Drive Simi Valley CA 93063. This is a free event for the whole family to participate including the dog. All proceeds will be used to help stop unwanted animals by spay/neutering all rescued and surrendered animals. By providing shelter, food, medicine, and all other associated costs for these abandoned animals until their "forever homes" can be found.
This event will feature:
Handmade item, commercial vendor, and pamper yourself booths for all
Animal specialty items and booths
Children activities
Animal Adoption
Demonstrations
Dog contests
Photo opportunity
Food and much more!

Pet Stop Rescue is a non-profit 501C organization dedicated to placing homeless and displaced pets. Based in Simi Valley, Pet Stop Rescue focuses on improving and protecting the lives of animals. We rescue animals from kill shelters, dangerous home situations as well as remote places where their families have dumped them. We also help responsible families who find themselves in the difficult situation of needing to re-home their pet.
Description
Pet Stop Rescue is a non-profit 501C organization dedicated to placing homeless and displaced pets. Based in Simi Valley, Pet Stop Rescue focuses on improving and protecting the lives of animals. We rescue animals from kill shelters, dangerous home situations as well as remote places where their families have dumped them. We also help responsible families who find themselves in the difficult situation of needing to re-home their pet. Most of our animals are in foster homes until "life long" homes can be found for them. We have been saving and rescuing animals for over 20 years here in the community. We have no paid positions all monies raised through fundraisers and donations go directly to our rescued animals. We depend on the kindness of others to help keep these animals alive.
Pet Stop Rescue makes sure that the animals are all healthy and free from fleas and worms. As soon as we rescue or find an animal it goes directly to the vets to be looked at and treated. We have to make sure that all the animals are free from infections so they do not infect the loving and generous foster homes we have. We also make sure to spay and neuter these animals. When we do catch feral cats with cages we also take them and have them fixed and then re-release them.
