We are looking for individuals, groups, churches, companies, fraternities, civic groups, etc. to host a food drive for us in support of our Helping Kids Eat Weekend Meal program. Once schools starts in August, we will be feeding at least 2,500 low income children in elementary and middle schools with kid-friendly non-perishable food items that they take home from school on Fridays for weekend consumption.
We need your help. We have a very simple way you can participate in a food drive with us or have your family, group, etc. host a food drive for us.
In our area, about 3 out of 4 kids experience hunger during the weekend when they are not being fed at school. We need your help! Gather all your friends/and or coworkers and lets work together to feed less fortunate kids in our area! We would like it if your group or organization would host a food drive. Upon request, we will email you basic steps for conducting a food drive along with our wish list with desired food items! Let’s work together and make a difference!
