ReStore Volunteers Needed

We are in need of some volunteers for our ReStore.

Not only do we need folks who love to move items when we go out and pick up items that are being donated to the ReStore but we need folks in the store as well. (and it is air conditioned inside these days J).

The ReStore is open Tuesday - Friday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. and on Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

We are looking to increase our volunteer numbers at this time so we have openings for all days and times.

Our volunteers may come in for an entire shift or schedule time within each shift according to when they are available.

Each of our volunteers receives direct training from our staff or an unpaid staff person who is a lead volunteer.

The work in the ReStore includes many options.

The first option is working at the register with customers, ringing up sales, providing great customer service, directing traffic to requested areas of the ReStore, helping to take in donations from the general public, and being all around helpful to all customers, staff and other volunteers.

The second option is volunteering on the sales floor preparing donations to be put out on the sales floor, helping customers locate goods, moving sold items from the sales floor to customers vehicles, and being all around helpful to all customers, staff and other volunteers.

etc.

Thirdly, working on the dock processing incoming donations from the general public and local businesses and being all around helpful to all customers, staff and other volunteers. This is the place for folks who are interested in seeing everything that comes in during each day.
