We are looking for volunteers who like to make people smile by giving them FREE coffee and a pastry! RMHC and McDonalds will provide the coffee and pastries and you get to be the hero of the day by giving it away. It costs you nothing, it costs the recipients nothing. You will travel pediatric floors of Broward General and give free coffee to families. It's a great way to meet people while earning service hours and doing something good for the community..and it's FREE!
Schedule: every other Mondays from 8:30am to 10:30am

Mission Statement

The Ronald McDonald House (RMH) is a temporary "home-away-from-home" for families to find rest, support, and time away from realities of the hospital procedures and routines in any Miami-Dade and Broward County pediatric medical facility.

Description

Your generous contribution will help to continue to provide a place to stay for the families of seriously ill children receiving treatment at Chris Evert Children's Hospital located on the grounds of Broward General Medical Center in Downtown Fort Lauderdale and other pediatric medical facilities. With your help and the help of the entire Broward Community, we will continue to provide services to 20 families at the same time and enable them to enjoy common areas such as: kitchen, dining room, play and TV room, family room, library with computers, laundry room.
