Volunteer at Tour de Cure Southern Colorado!
We appreciate your interest in helping to further the mission of the American Diabetes Association within the Colorado area as a volunteer working alongside others like yourself who wish to improve the lives of persons impacted by diabetes.
At this year's Tour de Cure Colorado we anticipate over 3000 people to be in attendance. We could not make this event happen without YOU, the volunteers. Please consider donating your time to the 2015 Tour.

There are various volunteer roles throughout the day and if you can only volunteer 1-2 hours that is completely okay! You can volunteer as early as 5am up until teardown at 4pm! We need volunteers to serve in the following roles:
Day of Event Volunteers
The day our riders have been waiting for has finally arrived. As an integral part of the Tour team, you can provide help in any of the following areas:
- Pre-Event Registration and packet pick up-early check in for riders.
- Friday night Pre-Registration and packet pick up-early check in for riders. Around 5pm-9pm
- Greeters - Greet riders and direct them to designated areas. Around 5am - 11am
- Event Registration - Welcomes the riders, help check them in and get them out on the route. Around 7am - 11am
- Cheering Crew - Cheer on riders as they start the ride. Noisemakers will be provided. Rides start at 5:45am - noon
- Food and Beverage - Unload, set up and serve food/beverages to riders. Lunch: Around 10am - 2pm
- Champions Tent Attendant-welcome our Champion Fundraisers and ensure their comfort Around 10-2pm & 1-4pm
- Last Rider Lounge-greet our late returning riders, make sure they have food and beverage. Around 2-4pm
- Event Clean Up - Assist in securing tables, chairs, and equipment for pick up, collect trash, assist with loading vans. Around 2pm - 6pm
- Route Marshal - Monitor areas where riders need to use caution, assistance on route, etc. Times vary depending on supported route.

Description
The ADA puts on several fundraising events throughout the year to raise funds for diabetes research, education, and advocacy. We also provide programs and education to the community through events like Camp Colorado and the Diabetes EXPO.
