Mission Statement
The mission of MIMSI (Modification in Mother-Baby Mortality Statistics Initiative) International is to reduce maternal morbidity and mortality so that women living in remote areas around the globe can have access to adequate healthcare, advice and education.
Description
MIMSI accomplishes this aim with trained community volunteers, the employment of technology and the establishment of transportation . MIMSI endeavors to save lives by providing trained medical professionals who identify and effectively triage patients with potentially life-threatening pregnancy condition s such as pre-eclampsia, postpartum hemorrhage or puerperal infection.
