Assisted Cycling Tours is currently looking for individuals to participate with and assist our clients during many upcoming events! Assisted Cycling Tours is a not for profit organization whom provides bike learning, bike adventures, and empowers self-confidence for individuals with any disability type. Our next upcoming events are two 10 mile rides: the first is August 8 in Lafayette, CO and the other event is August 15, 2015 in Centennial, CO . Below are the volunteer positions needed for these upcoming events:

Ride Chaperon: The Ride Chaperon volunteers to ride amongst the group helping where needed (not on a tandem bike). Knowing basic mechanics of a bicycle and be able to perform these repairs during the event if anything should happen is helpful, but not necessary. Level of experience: Intermediate (may require getting help or helping solve logistical problems on the ride, if any occur).

Tandem Captain : The Tandem Captain pilots a tandem while riding with one of our clients. This volunteer must be able to use this type of bicycle (which we will provide during the event), be comfortable bike with and being around individuals with disability. We can offer basic training before the event, if necessary.

Videographer and/or Photographer : This volunteer would preferably have previous experience in this creative area, capture moments from the event(s), and the ability to ride with the group to capture the experience.

Floating Volunteer : Our floating volunteers are responsible for providing help to our clients so they can safely get on their bicycle, set-up and turn- down bicycles, food, and any other required tasks, adhere to any other requests from Assisted Cycling Tours staff.

Please note, these positions require a background check ($6) as well as a basic comfort and respect for working with people of ALL abilities. If you are interested in any of these volunteer positions or wish to know more about our organization please e-mail us: volunteer@assistedcyclingtours.org
