Love being outdoors? Doing things with your dog? This event is for you!
The Animal History Museum is looking for volunteers to assist with planning and facilitating our upcoming "Puppy Picnic." June date tba. Event may include activities such as yoga for the two-legged members of the family, massage for the four-legged members and more. We are looking for anyone that has experience in planning or assisting in any capacity of an outdoor charity event. We also welcome anyone who does NOT have this experience, but would just like to volunteer to help in any way they can!

Mission Statement
We are an all-volunteer organization! The Animal History Museum is the first museum dedicated to understanding and celebrating the human-animal bond. Its purpose is to serve and educate the public through the creation of a museum in Los Angeles County, California, for the collection, preservation and exploration of the history, culture, science and law relating to the relationship between human and non-human animals; by presenting exhibitions, lectures and other activities that are consistent with, and supportive of, the museum's educational goals and purpose.
Description
Planned exhibits include: human-animal bond, animals & cognition, the history of animals in art, in literature, in TV & Film, and in pop culture, the development of animal welfare, rights & law, animals & religion and vegetarian/vegan food trends.
We also plan to have rotating exhibits, a lecture & film series, a small cafe and a gift shop. Someday we also hope to be able to host conferences, research, etc..
