Mission Statement

The Shoe Crew provides new athletic shoes to disadvantaged children. Our goal is to personally size each child with a brand new pair of shoes that fits.

Description

The Shoe Crew, a 501(c)3 organization that was founded by Santa Clarita teens Kayla and Justin Tinucci, who have collected and donated over 8,000 pairs of brand new athletic shoes to children in need since 2012. The founders have been recognized nationally for their efforts winning the Build A Bear Huggable Hero award, Prudential Spirit of the Community award and Points of Light Award over the past 2 years. The Shoe Crew collects shoes and raises funds by hosting fun, family friendly events. The cost of a ticket to each event is either a donation to the shoe crew or a brand new pair of athletic shoes. Since 2012, The Shoe Crew has hosted over 25 community events such as bowling fundraisers, formal dances, concerts, pool parties and more.
