The Women's Home is a Houston nonprofit that provides housing and treatment to women who have recently experienced homelessness and who suffer from substance abuse. The Cottage Shop, a boutique resale store, helps fund our programs and is a job training site for our clients. The Cottage Shop needs volunteers to process, sort, and organize the large amounts of donated items it receives daily. As a Cottage Shop volunteer, you will volunteer alongside both clients and enthusiastic fellow volunteers.
Masks are required for all volunteers. Social distancing and hand sanitizing is in place for everyone's safety.

Established in 1957, The Women's Home is the only agency in Houston offering women long-term residential care, psychiatric and nurse practitioner services, psychotherapy, chemical dependency services and vocational and spiritual development programs.
