Comfort Zone Camp offers free bereavement camps that transform the lives of children that have experienced the death of a parent, sibling, or guardian. The programs include confidence-building activities and age-based support groups that break the emotional isolation grief often brings. The first step in becoming a volunteer is to attend a volunteer training. Comfort Zone’s volunteer training provides education regarding childhood grief, and prepares volunteers to take part in our camp programs. All volunteers are required to complete our 6-hour training before attending camp - The next training in Raleigh, NC is on Saturday, September 12th 9:00am-3:00pm.
