Mission Statement

The purpose of the Andre Booker Foundation is to honor the loving memory of Andre Terrell Booker. Andre’s interests were in the arts, history and sports. The goal of the foundation is to promote education and serve the community by donating to local food banks in the Randolph AFB and San Antonio metro areas.

Description

The Andre BookerFoundation is a is a nonprofit 501C(3)foundation providing higher education scholarships to high school students in the Schertz, Cibolo, Universal City, and San Antonio Texas metro areas. The Andre Booker Foundation works with local school districts to provide scholarships for students that might not have the opportunity to otherwise receive help for higher education. The Andre Booker Foundation’s goal is to give back to the students in memory of our beloved friend, brother, and son Andre Terrell Booker. Andre had a commitment to young people, to promote pro-social friendships, strong interpersonal skills, and assert a sense of hope in the future. His dream was to develop strong character traits and return to his home town to help other do the same.

Our scholarships are awarded to good students involved in sports and other extracurricular activities and espouse good moral values. By supporting the youth in our neighborhoods we can continue the work Andre was interested in.

Over time, The Andre Booker Foundation created a scholarship fund that will be an invaluable resource to young people dedicated to reaching their full potential. The Andre Booker Foundationestablished an endowment for students attending Texas State University in San Marcos, TX. Your support of The Andre Booker Foundation will benefit the youth of our community and help them achieve their goals and dreams.
