Family Fun Day - A free community art day at the Knoxville Museum of Art
Saturday, August 22 from 11am-3pm
Do you love art and working with kids?
Join the Knoxville Museum of Art for Family Fun Day!
Learn fun art skills as you help kids make art projects based on the museum’s collections and exhibitions. Assist with fun activities, concessions, and prizes! Enjoy family entertainment while being a part of your community.
Family Fun Day is a great opportunity for those who are interested in art, education, child development, or those who just want a fun way to help the arts in your community.
Shifts are 10:30am-1pm or 12:30-3pm (volunteers can sign up for both shifts if they like.)
Wear comfortable shoes and clothing, come a few minutes early for check in, and be prepared to have a lot of fun!

Description
The Knoxville Museum of Art seeks volunteers who are dedicated to bringing the arts to a diverse community in E. Tennessee. You don't have to be an artist to volunteer, but you do need a passion for helping people and a good sense of commitment. We offer both one day volunteer opportunities as well as long term volunteer positions.
