Educational First Steps program tranforms daycare centers in impoverished neighborhoods into nationally accredited preschools that serve as long term anchors in their communities. Due to resource contrictions, many of our partner centers need marketing help in areas such as website, signage, brochures, social media, etc.
NEED - We are seeking photographers that can capture images children and teacher interactions that can be used to help their marketing efforts. Times and days can be flexible Monday through Friday.

The mission of Educational First Steps is to improve the quality and availability of early childhood education for economically disadvantaged children. Educational First Steps shows caregivers how to create high-quality early learning environments that start at-risk children on a path to lifelong success. Today, EFS works with 800 teachers/directors in 90 child care centers with-in 15 school districts, providing assistance in some 435 classrooms serving 4,750 at-risk children.

Description
Educational First Steps helps create nationally accredited early learning centers in the neighborhoods and for the children that need them most. We do this by transforming day care centers in disadvantaged and at risk neighborhoods of North Texas into superior pre-school experiences and their staffs into qualified teachers of age appropriate academic and social-emotional skills. Without this opportunity to develop a solid early foundation, these children most often enter the elementary grades unprepared for learning, with inadequate vocabulary, in need of costly remedial intervention and likely to repeat the cycle of poverty.
EFS' goal is to intervene in these children's lives at a pivotal point when they want nothing more than to learn -- and need nothing less than our best effort to give them the opportunity they deserve.
