Mistletoe is seeking volunteers to tidy the butterfly garden and trails for the season. Volunteers will be able to choose their own challenge whether picking up litter on the Rock Dam or pulling weeds in the garden behind the office. Meet at the Nature Center at 9AM for instruction. Bring sturdy shoes, water, gloves, and hand tools. Call the park office at 706-541-0321 if you have any questions.

Our mission is simple. We partner with the Georgia Department of Natural Resources, local community and business leaders and community volunteers to promote, support, improve and preserve Mistletoe State Park.
Description
Friends of Mistletoe State Park, a chapter of Friends of Georgia State Parks and Historic Sites, is a group of local volunteers who work to support Mistletoe State Park in numerous ways. Our volunteers often help out with special events, improvement projects and maintenance tasks at the park. Through partnerships with local business and community leaders, we help fund site improvements, maintenance needs and interpretive programming.
