Spend time with patients who have a life limiting illness. Read books and magazines to them or watch a movie to provide companionship and respite for the caregiver. Go grocery shopping for a patient who cannot get out of the house on their own. Transcribe a letter while they dictate it to you because they are unable to write. Whatever your heart desires to assist these individuals in preparing for their final day.

At Wren Hospice we believe that care should be patient-centered. We believe that hospice is a gift and we work around the clock to provide compassionate and attentive care to every person touched by our program.
Wren Hospice provides in-home care and inpatient care for people with life-limiting illnesses. We also strive to provide a positive, supportive environment for their families as well. We believe this time in the life of a family can be an opportunity for spiritual and emotional healing.
Volunteers are a special kind of people called to work with patients and their families at a sensitive time in their lives and we look forward to having you as a part of the Wren Hospice team!
