Join us for the 9th Annual St. Louis VisionWalk to benefit the Foundation Fighting Blindess! This family-friendly walk-a-thon is designed to raise awareness and funds to support sight-saving research to cure retinal degenerative diseases.
Registration starts at 9:00 a.m.
Walk begins at 10:30 a.m.
Volunteer shifts: 6:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
Volunteer Opportunities:
-Set-up and tear down Volunteers
-Registration & Accounting Volunteers: Greet event attendees and help process event-day donations.
-T-shirt Volunteers: Help pass out T-shirts!
-Walk Route Volunteers: Cheer on the walkers and help pass out water.
-Food Volunteers: Set up and maintain the food station.
-Kid's Activities Volunteer: Help with face painting and the hand print mural

The urgent mission of The Foundation Fighting Blindness, Inc. (FFB) is to drive the research that will provide preventions, treatments and cures for people affected by retinitis pigmentosa (RP), macular degeneration, Usher Syndrome, and the entire spectrum of retinal degenerative diseases.
Description
Each year, our VisionWalks raise awareness and funds for blinding eye diseases. We are asking for your support to raise lots of great research dollars for retinal degenerative diseases and help our Walk Day run well. Throughout the Midwest, the Foundation Fighting Blindness hosts VisionWalks in every state - walkathon-style fundraisers to support the mission of the Foundation Fighting Blindness. The events feature entertainment and family friendly activities.
