Why... this volunteer position is needed: To develop and grow our reach online in order to supplement our in person connections.
How... volunteering will help Passion Impact’s mission: There are a plethora of students on social media and your posts, emails, and any other contact method will couple with the in-person interaction to reinforce the importance of volunteering.
What... the result will be of the volunteer position: Your time and effort will garner at least 100% more engagement on all social media outlets while providing a personal and genuine response to those engaging.
Description:
- Introduce yourself as the communications director on all of social media outlets
- Post relevant, informative, fun, and creative information on media outlets
- Scheduling posts 1 week in advance on all social media outlets
- Responding to social media engagements
- Increase our local following on Facebook, Youtube, and Twitter
- Plan and send our bi-monthly newsletters through Mailchimp
- Coordinate with with Media Magician to post photos and videos
- Analyze social media insights and trends and adjust accordingly
- Build your own project based on your passions

Volunteer Positions Available: Lend your specialized skills to one of Passion Impact's capacity building committees. Committees meet monthly to do the behind-the-scenes work to ensure that the organization runs smoothly for the students we serve. If you prefer to build relationships with students, a Chaperone or Editor role may be more appropriate for you. Wherever you fit in, we welcome you!
