Work at Kid's Corner at the Great American Banana Split Festival

Celebrate the Great American Banana Split in style at Latrobe's annual Banana Split Festival! We are looking for volunteers to staff our Kid's Corner writing craft (hosted by Write Local) at the Medicine Shoppe in downtown Latrobe on August 29 & 30. We will be set up with other kid's activities, such as face painting and a photo booth. As a volunteer, you'll help children to decorate banana split bookmark and magnets. You'll also represent Write Local by sharing information about our programs and by sharing writing materials that will help children succeed during the school year. Please review the volunteer time blocks and contact us (writelocal@gmail.com) with the shift you'd like: Saturday, August 29: 10am-1:30pm;or 1:30pm-5:00pm; or 5:00pm-8:00pm. Sunday, August 30: 10am-1:30pm; or 1:30pm-5:00pm. Though these shifts are generally 3-3 1/2 hours, if you can volunteer for more or less time, please do.
