awd 25th anniversary

About AIDS Walk Detroit:

In 1991 a group of local merchants and shop keepers in Royal Oak started AIDS Walk Detroit as a 'simple request’ to raise money for individuals reeling from the HIV/AIDS epidemic. Today AIDS Walk Detroit has evolved into the largest grassroots HIV/AIDS fundraiser in the state of Michigan. Over the past 25 years AIDS Walk Detroit has raised $3.8 million to benefit HIV/AIDS services here in Michigan.

AIDS Walk Detroit 2015:

This year AIDS Walk Detroit's annual 5k walk will take place on Sunday September 13th at the Royal Oak Farmers Market. We are looking for volunteers to assist with registration, walk safety, photography, water stations and more.

If you would like more information or want to register as a volunteer, visit us at www.aidswalkdetroit.org.
