Volunteers will be needed Saturday, August 22nd to help us celebrate the light rail extension in Mesa. Shifts will be available between the hours of approximately 7:30am-2:00pm.

Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteer Registration and Check In Volunteers will assist with volunteer check-in and provide direction and information to other volunteers as required. 1 Shift: 7:00am-12:00pm

Ambassadors Volunteers may assist with distributing information about the light rail and event activities, managing lines and greeting patrons. Ambassadors will be required to view an orientation prior to the event day. Orientations will be offered both in person and electronically. 2 Shifts: 7:30am-12:30pm, 10:00am-12:30pm

Kids Activities Volunteers may assist with managing bounce houses, carnival games, water activities, maintenance of the event area and various other tasks as needed. 2 Shifts: 8:30am-11:00am, 10:30am-12:30pm

Water Stations Volunteers may assist with distributing water to event patrons and restocking water troughs with water and ice. 2 Shifts: 8:30am-11:00am, 10:30am-12:30pm

Valley Metro Booth Volunteers may assist with distributing giveaway items, information about the light rail and event activities and answering questions from patrons. Info booth volunteers will be required to view an orientation prior to the event day. Orientations will be offered both in person and electronically. 2 Shifts: 8:30am-11:00am, 10:30am-12:30pm

Rovers Volunteers may assist with keeping the event clean and supporting any other volunteer areas as needed if there is a volunteer shortage. 2 Shifts: 9:00am-11:00am, 11:00am-2:00pm
