Q-BLOK, a program of Pathfinders, assists LGBT young adults, ages 18-25, who are at imminent risk of homelessness. Q-BLOK provides critical services including supportive housing, financial assistance and specialized case management.
A Life Support Coach is trained and matched with a young adult in order to build an ongoing and trusting relationship. This relationship provides the guidance, support and encouragement that empower them to make positive life choices. The Life Support Coach assists the young adult in setting goals and working towards accomplishing them, and participates in activities that will strengthen the relationship and build self-esteem.

Description
Pathfinders empowers youth and young adults by providing them with emotional support, resources for basic needs and tangible tools for a fresh start. Services include:
- An eight bed youth shelter.
- Counseling services.
- A drop-in center that provides case management, job support, food, laundry, shower facilities, as well as health and risk reduction resources.
- A middle school behavioral alternative public school.
