Blind Start of America is a non-profit organization that aids the blind and visually impaired by providing fun activities and scholarships. This includes Blind Mud Runs, Dragon Boat Races, Blind Marathons, and much more. As we continue to expand our efforts, we need a volunteer to assist us in contacting the media and create newsletters. These articles will then be given to local newspapers and posted weekly.

Mission Statement
Blind Start of America is an award winning 501(c)3 non-profit organization, who's passion is bringing together sighted and visually impaired people through exciting athletic and social events like Dragon Boat Racing and the Blind Mud Run. Our mission is to provide scholarships for blind and visually impaired persons (VIPs) to develop job skills to enable them to ultimately lead lives of independence. These scholarships provide education, training, communication, transportation, adaptive equipment and technology.
Description
We raise awareness and money for visually impaired individuals. We do this by participating in marathons, dragon boat races, and mud runs.
