We're looking for volunteers for our annual Concert for the Kids event. The Foundation for the Children of the Californias (FCC) is part of a tri-national humanitarian collaboration among philanthropies in the United States, Mexico and Canada, which for more than 20 years has provided needed medical care and disease prevention education to children of the border region through critical support of the Hospital Infantil de las Californias. The facility is located adjacent to the U.S. Border (one half a mile into Baja California, Mexico).

Every year, we hold a benefit concert at the Santaluz Club in San Diego and this year the Doobie Brothers are performing. The event is October 2nd and we are expecting close to 1,000 people. Here is our website with more information about the event: http://www.usfcc.org/?page_id=3101 We are looking for volunteers to help set up our silent auction, assist with registration, help with bids during the silent auction and live auction and assist with check-out at the end of the event. Volunteers would have an assigned shift or two and then would be able to enjoy the concert (free of cost). Food and beverages are also provided to volunteers.
