Take the first step in becoming a Seasons Hospice Volunteer by attending the Seasons Hospice Volunteer Orientation at Seasons Hospice office in Columbia. This 6 hour course will provide you with the history and philosophy of hospice care as well as information about the dying process, grief, bereavement, family dynamics, and spiritual concerns. We'll focus on the role our volunteers play in providing companionship, caregiver relief and supportive presence to our patients and their loved ones. Class Dates are Tuesday, May 7 and Thursday, May 9 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. To obtain an application packet, please contact the Seasons Volunteer Department at 888-523-6000 or go to our website at www.seasons.org. The deadline for your application submission is April 23.
