Make a big impact in someone's life! Help adults learn to speak English by serving one evening each week.
Volunteers can teach a group of students or assist a lead instructor with a class. The students are friendly, interesting and grateful for the time volunteers offer.
The students attend two classes a week, Monday and Wednesday evenings. The students are with the lead instructor for the first hour, in one large group. Then they are divided into smaller groups, and taught by volunteers for the last two hours. During this time, our goal is for the students to speak as much as possible.
Volunteer instructors are needed for the last two hours of class: 7:30 AM to 9:30PM.
We seek a commitment for one class per week until December 14th.
