HIPAtlanta (HIV Intervention Project, Inc.) a non-profit organization provides Outreach, HIV Testing and Linkage To Care. We are peer driven agency focusing on targeting the high-risk group gay men and people of color.

Our service gap is STD Screening and Treatment.

We need a Registered Nurse (PT or FT) to help us implement and manage our HIV and STD services. Their primary roles would be blood draw (i.e.western blot, CD4, Viral Load test) and submission to lab. Review results and coordinate next steps with Peer Navigators.

If we can secure a volunteer to assist in launching the project. We enhance our ability to secure funding.

It would make such a huge community impact! Your race, ethinic or sexual orientation is not a barrier for you helping us. We need your talents.

This volunteer will provide with an opportunity:

(1)Provide services to an underserved community

(2)Assisting with the coordination of linking people living with HIV into care

(3)A grassroots environment

(4)Engage with people of color of all ages

(5)Growth us in bridging the rapid point of care devices divide.
