The COTN Resources Department is seeking experienced Warehouse Coordinators at our main campus warehouse in Silverdale,WA to pick up donations in and around Kitsap County and to sort and organize donations. These donations will be shipped to our five countries in Africa and the Caribbean and will be used by children and their families in schools, homes, and villages.

Responsibilities:

  • Pick up and unload donations off COTN truck - must be able to lift 50 lbs minimum
  • Sorting and inventorying donations
  • Stocking shelves and pallets
  • Prepare items to be packed for Venture trips in-country
Skills and Qualifications:
  • Experience in warehouse organization
  • Able to work individually or in a team
  • Detail-oriented
  • Self-directed
  • Preferred: experience in forklift use and/or willingness to be trained in forklift use

Description

Children of the Nations (COTN) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to raising children who transform nations. Founded in 1995, the organization currently provides holistic care to orphaned and destitute children in Sierra Leone, Malawi, Uganda,Liberia, Haiti, and the Dominican Republic. By partnering with nationals, they establish full-care residential Children's Homes (for orphans) and Village Partnership Programs (to benefit orphans and children living with destitute families or caregivers who are unable to properly provide for them). Children of the Nations believes that true, lasting, and meaningful change to a nation begins with the children, and so they are their mission.
