Migration & Legal Services is seeking motivated volunteers to provide administrative support to the office in Naples, Florida.
Volunteer duties include but are not limited to:
- Answering Calls
- Making appointment for various immigration services, and support for our immigration program.
Qualifications:
- Bilingual Spanish
- Familiarity of immigration issues, green card/citizenship application process
- Previous nonprofit experience preferred
It is great opportunity for college students to gain experience in a growing non-profit.
Minimum three days per week. Hours and schedule are flexible.

Migration & Legal Services (MLS) engages in the provision of direct legal services to immigrants in need in both offices (Naples, FL & New York City, NY). MLS provides a broad range of immigration legal services, including, family-based immigration, and deportation defense as well as immigration employment based, domestic violence representation, asylum assistance and representation, citizenship classes, family law, and education.
Description
MLS provides professional legal services in civil matters to law-income people in Naples, Florida and New York City, NY in the following:
- Immigration services and representation before USCIS and immigration court (EOIR)
- Domestic Violence Representation
- Providing advice or referral information when we cannot provide representation
- Providing legal education through community workshops, helplines and written materials
MLS principal practice area is immigration representation to low-income people who are not able to afford a private attorney. MLS respond the needs of the population effectively in two offices located in Naples, Florida, and New York City, NY.
