Volunteering is not only fun and a great way to support the community, but it can also be a way to develop new skills, whether for resume-building or lifelong learning. Here's a few of the ways you can contribute as a volunteer.
ArtSpace Gallery Docent
Two-hour minimum shift
Volunteer once a week, once a month, or more frequently -- whatever suits your schedule. We are open Tuesdays-Saturdays, thanks to volunteers.
ArtSpace Exhibit Installations:
Meets once a month
No experience necessary to join our team to receive, place, and hang the art.
Round Rock Arts Committees
Meets one a month, take-home projects available
Work behind-the-scenes in brainstorming sessions, and as it suits you, by taking ownership of a project of your choosing.
Committees include:
- Marketing is chaired by Michaela Dollar
- Exhibits & Public Art is
- Fundraising, Membership & Finance
Event Planning Committees
Meets bi-weekly/weekly leading up to the event date
We also have teams of volunteers to handle the planning each of our recurring events.

If you just want to volunteer once at an event, we’ve got plenty of roles for you. Meet and greet guests, manage a Cake Walk, take snapshots, decorate a VIP lounge, run a silent auction, sell raffle tickets, and more!
We are seeking volunteers at:
- Monthly First Thursday ArtSpace receptions
- Annual Imagine event in February
- Have a Ball contest and event at Dell Diamond in April
- Round Rock Fish Fry for the Arts in spring
- Chalk Walk & Arts Festival in October

The vision of Round Rock Arts is to create, support, and promote an inclusive community where lives are transformed and enriched through the shared experience of art.
Description
Made up of a grassroots group of dedicated and diverse individuals, the non-profit, 501 c 3 designated, Round Rock Area Arts Council (dba Round Rock Arts) was formed in January 2009.
Round Rock Arts holds open art calls to the public as well as hosts curated group exhibits showcasing art in 3 public spaces in the area; the Downtowner Gallery, Texas State University Round Rock Campus, and Williamson County Jester Annex. It also assists in annual events such as Chalk Walk Arts Festival, Imagine, and Mainly Art, as well as educational and community-oriented programming.
