We are looking for volunteers to help us with the event production of the Relay For Life of Capitol Hill coming up on August 15th at Cal Anderson Park. Specifically, we need folks to help us with event set-up, staff our registration tent and for help with event takedown.

Our volunteer shifts are as follows:

7:00AM to 11:00AM - Event set-up and registration (4 volunteers needed)

9:00AM to 1:00PM - Registration (2 volunteers needed)

12:00PM to 4:00PM - Registration (2 volunteers needed)

3:00PM to 7:00PM - Registration (2 volunteers needed)

6:00 to 10:00PM - Registration and event take-down (2 volunteers needed)

Relay For Life helps raise funds that support cancer patient programs and services here locally and across the county, innovative cancer research at place like Fred Hutch and UW Medicine (we are the largest private funder of cancer research in the US!), educational and awareness campaigns helping us prevent cancer and advocacy on the state and federal level, ensuring that people have access to quality care! At the event, we promote healthy living and educate particiaptns on how they can take action to prevent cancer.

If you are interested in this fun and unique volunteer role, please respond to this posting with your preferred time or times that you are available. You can also or reach out to Curtis Thomas at Curtis.Thomas@cancer.org or 206-683-0942 to talk more about this volunteer role.
