Quincy Asian Resources Inc. (QARI) is a community-based multi-service center based in Quincy, and offers the area's largest ESOL program.
Currently we are seeking volunteers to teach our free evening ESOL 4 class on Thursday nights from 6:30 to 8:30. This is a fantastic group of upper intermediate students, highly motivated and serious, but also energetic and a whole lot of fun.
This is an innovative class model in which volunteers share a class, each teaching two nights per week, with both teachers working together at least once per week. This program has been a great success, and we are looking for teachers to help us continue the program.
Responsibilities include planning and delivering two 2-hour class per week. Some reporting via Google Drive is also required, in order to maintain continuity among teachers.
