Girl Scouts of Kansas & Missouri offers a wide variety of volunteer opportunities that cater to your skills and interests. Become a role model by empowering girls and having fun.
When assisting the largest organization for girls in the world, no job is too small. We value your commitment to our girls and, as a member of our Product Sales Committee during Girl Scout Cookie season, your time and expertise is crucial to the success of our young girls.
Product Sales Committee members work to assist in the acquisition of retail locations that will be offered to troops in the six-county metro Kansas City area for the annual Cookie Program.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Contacting retailer(s) via phone, email or in person as assigned
- Completing paperwork, if required by retailer
- Communicating with the Product Sales Specialist on a regular basis to ensure program compliance and success
- Complying with current policies, procedures, and guidelines of Girl Scouts of NE Kansas & NW Missouri and Girl Scouts of the USA (GSUSA)
- Above all, be guided in all actions by the Girl Scout Mission, Promise, and Law
