ORGANIZATION: Interim Hospice

Direct Patient Care Volunteers provide important services to those in our community. Providing assistance with a family who is dealing with losing a loved one is a true way to serve others in need and provides a blessing to those who serve. As a direct care volunteer could will be involved in some of the activities below:

  • Providing companionship for patients
  • Provide companionship for caregivers
  • Reading and taking walks with patients
  • Assisting patients in writing letters to their loved ones
  • Bringing Music and Art to patients
  • Providing respite for the primary caregivers
  • Assist with shopping, errands, and meals
