The INN is seeking volunteers with backgrounds in Social Work or Health & Human Services for its new Center for Transformative Change (CTC). The CTC is located adjacent to the existing Mary Brennan INN, the largest soup kitchen on Long Island, and is designed to serve as a consultative referral center for guests of the Mary Brennan INN. Guests will be referred for services and programs that meet their needs for issues such as housing, educational program, employment, health care, etc.
Volunteers with Spanish language skills are also needed. The CTC is expected to open January 2016.
Currently seeking volunteers on Tuesdays and Thursdays: 9:00-12:00PM / Wednesdays: 12:30-3:00PM
