In 2013, 49.1 million Americans lived in food insecure households, including 33.3 million adults and 15.8 million children. The state of Ohio has a significantly higher food insecurity rate than the U.S. national average. 1 in 6 Ohioans is currently at risk of hunger. If you are interested in doing your part to address the issue of hunger and poverty in Ohio, then look no further than Mature Services Inc.

Mature Services offers a variety of services to individuals living in poverty, including providing supplementary food to those in need. The Mature Services Emergency Food Pantry is currently looking for volunteers to prepare 3-day grocery packages for clients who require emergency nutrition services. Parking is free and on-site. Physical requirements include being able to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds, and being able to work on your feet for a few hours at a time. On-site volunteer training is provided.
