Whether you're an army of one or many, we want you to be a part of the
fun too! Cooking Light & Health’s the Fit Foodie 5K is looking for volunteers
that are enthusiastic, flexible, fun-loving individuals that want to give back
while having fun. Experience the race first hand and make friends with
other volunteers at the event. This event will benefit the American Diabetes
Association and you will be a BIG part of that! Volunteers 16 years old and
over are welcome, and volunteers 15 and under are welcome with a
parent, guardian or group.
You can do one or two of the opportunities listed below. Please sign up for all the shifts you can volunteer for.
Finisher's Village: Friday, September 11th from 12:00pm - 4:00pm at Jackson Park. Responsibilities include assisting with unloading supplies, moving tables, loading in sponsors, etc.
Packet Pickup: Friday, September 11th from 9:00am - 3:15pm at Road Runner Sports (1435 N. Kingsbury Chicago, IL 60642). Packet Pickup duties include assisting the timing company in getting participants bibs and organizing and handing out goody bags and any apparel.
Race Day: Saturday,September 12th from 6am - 11:30pm at Jackson Park. Race Day duties include start and finish line assistance, course management, water stations, goodie bags/T-shirts and cheering on participants and other key tasks to ensure the Chicago Fit Foodie 5K is a success!
